Whimsical Illustrations Made With The Aid of Hands

Based in Chicago, artist Alex Solis’ simple drawings are ‘completed’ by his hands or other everyday objects like a leaf or a pair of chopsticks.

In doing so, the artist creates movement as it looks as though he is interacting with his own drawings.

From using his hands to outline the faces of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to ‘pressing’ a pig’s belly to make it fart, Solis shows that powerful ideas can be realized with simplicity.
